Jewell Law QuickBooks Application
The Jewell Law QuickBooks application is a private, internal desktop tool for personnel expressly authorized by Jewell Law Group, PLLC. It is not available for public use.
Launch the application
On an authorized Jewell Law Group Mac, open the Jewell Law QuickBooks shortcut on the Desktop. The application runs locally and connects only to the QuickBooks Online company that Jewell Law Group authorizes.
Connect or reconnect
If the application indicates that a QuickBooks connection is required, follow the local authorization instructions shown by the application. Intuit will ask the authorized user to sign in and approve access. Do not send Intuit passwords, verification codes, client secrets, access tokens, or refresh tokens by email, chat, or any other unsecured channel.
Disconnect
An authorized QuickBooks company administrator may revoke the application's access through Intuit. After access is revoked, the local application can no longer retrieve QuickBooks data unless an authorized administrator completes the connection process again.
Security and approval controls
The application is designed primarily for read-only review of company information, customers, invoices, and accounts receivable. Any separately enabled customer or invoice change remains subject to Jewell Law Group's internal preview-and-approval procedures. The application is not authorized to send invoices, record payments, move funds, access or affect trust or IOLTA accounts, create journal entries, alter bank activity, issue credits or refunds, or delete or void QuickBooks records.
